and you’re about to go apartment hunting
to live with your best friend
proud to say that day
has finally come for me
so let’s go apartment hunting in Texas
Today we’re gonna tour 3 different apartments
and I’m gonna show you everything
give you the prices the rundown etc
I’m used to New York City prices
and I’m assuming Texas is gonna be a lot better
but I also don’t know what to expect
so think that’s it
so let’s go see the first apartment
this first apartment is right in the heart of downtown
so it’s a pretty good location
the layout of this apartment is pretty unique
so you have the kitchen right when you enter
and towards the back is the laundry room
and then here you have a closet and the dining room
and here is the living room
I feel like people have mixed feelings about concrete floors
but I actually really like them
this is technically the guest bathroom
meaning one of us would have to
have our restroom disconnected from our room
to the left is the first bedroom
which is a pretty decent size
and it has a nice window and closet
on the opposite side is a second bedroom
which is technically the master bedroom
it has so many windows this room is really nice
and it had the connected walk in closet and restroom
the rent for this one is $1900
and we really like it but one of us would
have to get the short end of the stick
with a smaller room and disconnected bathroom
here’s the next apartment we saw
we didn’t necessarily love the location of this one
but we did love the apartment itself
it has so much natural light
this is the first bedroom
and it has a connecting bathroom
and the walk in closet is towards the back
the rent for this apartment is $2550 a month
which is still below our budget
but we just really did not love the location
still gonna keep it as an option though
because it’s so pretty and so spacious
okay this is the last apartment we saw
so right when you walk in
you have the kitchen and there’s an island
there’s no really like
designated dining area I guess
here’s a living room and this apartment is very symmetrical
so like
split down the middle each person has their own side of the apartment
this is what the bedrooms look like
and then it has the bathroom right next to
inside of the bathroom is a walk in closet
which was a really good size as well
and then on the other side is the exact same situation
with the bedroom and the bathroom and the walk in closet inside of it
the rent for this unit is $1980
and it’s in a location that we really like
also all of these apartments we saw today have in unit laundry
which is really good but yeah
we think these are really good options
