Title: E-Scooters Banned from Public Transport in Ireland Due to Safety Concerns

some bad news for anyone who may have recently invested in an e scooter
from early October
you will no longer be able to bring your e scooter on public transport
in Ireland
it’s just as new Dublin traffic plans come into place
that are meant to be encouraging people to get out of their cars
it’s being introduced because e scooters are apparently fire hazards
in a way that e bikes and mobility scooters are not
so e bikes and mobility scooters will still be allowed on public transport
the journal report says Ireland is not the only country to go down this route
other countries
such as Berlin and the UK have also banned e-scooters for public transport
however the timing numbers in Ireland might raise some eyebrows
