Imagine playing in a basketball game in front of a sold out crowd,
and one of the people sitting courtside
just so happens to be your basketball idol.
Caitlin Clark did exactly that last night,
and she sure put on a show
by leading her team in points and leading everyone in assists.
Were her efforts enough to take down the No..
1 WNBA team in the Western Conference?
Not only was Caitlin Clark in town last night,
but the greatest Lynx player ever,
Maya Moore, was getting her Jersey put up in the rafters.
Now Caitlin Clark has made it very clear
that Maya Moore is her basketball hero,
so you know she had to put on a show.
I got to see tons of Caitlin Clark signature threes,
but she also did a good job of attacking the rim for finishes
and setting up her teammates for good looks of their own.
But the Fever’s opponent, the Minnesota Lynx,
are the No.. 1 team in the Western Conference for a reason.
And the entire team was playing well,
especially WNBA MVP candidate Nafisa Collier and this year’s All Star
Kayla McBride. These two ended up combining for 50 total points,
which helped the Lynx win this game and clinch a playoff spot.
It only feels right that the Lynx were able to win
on Maya Moore’s big night.
