Hotel Room Inspection: Undercover Discoveries with a Black Light

I just got to my hotel, so you guys know what time it is.
I’ve not touched my bags yet
because I will not until I know what’s lurking in here.
Normally this hotel is not bad, but you never know.
So I always start by checking the bed first
to make sure there’s no creepy crawlies or bodily fluids.
And although the bedding and the sheets were fine,
there was quite a bit of remnants around the headboards.
And then I found this spotting on the floor,
which I think it’s because this is a pet friendly hotel
and they wouldn’t be able to see this
without actually having a black light.
Now for the true test, the bathroom,
as you can see on the floor,
the grout is actually black.
But the closer you go to the toilet,
it ends up being fluorescent yellow.
You can actually see where the fluid leaked into the cracks
and splashed all on the backboard
as well as around the base of the toilet.
This one was pretty bad, probably the worst I’ve seen in a hotel yet,
which was very surprising for me.
And then I got to the shower side and let me tell you,
it was caked.
I was even surprised by the state of the floor in the shower.
Now, let me just say absolutely no hate to housekeepers.
I know they’re underpaid and overworked.
This is not their fault. But I do think black lights should be
Regularly implemented in cleaning routines at hotels.
What do you guys think?
