Rookie Phenom: Asia Wilson Dominates in Rebounding and Scoring, but Chicago Needs Support

I don’t care what none of y’all say,
the fact that she’s a rookie
and leading the league and rebounds is insane.
And then out rebounded the MVP when they faced off.
That being said, there’s more to the game than just rebounding.
You gotta make your shots
and that’s what Asia Wilson did for a game winner.
Asia Wilson had 20 points,
18 boards, three blocks,
two steals with two assists.
And did I mention the game winner
Angel Reese had 22 boards with 11 points and all blocks.
However, she did shoot 4 for 16 from the field.
Terrible. If you’re wondering why Asia only had 20 points,
I mean, yes,
she’s been in a little bit of a slump,
but it’s also because a rookie,
Camila Cardoso blocked her five times today.
Is the most Asia Wilson has ever been blocked by a single player
in one game in her career.
A rookie.
The course of Angels last three games she has recorded 62 boards,
62 19 and 2013 and 2011 and 22.
Her splits, that’s a totally different story.
8 for 16, very solid.
13 for 12 and then 14 for 16.
Not good at all.
For her last three games she’s been averaging 14 points,
21 boards, but shooting 34% from the field.
And that 34% hurts.
Definitely when they haven’t won any of those last three games.
And the thing is, she shouldn’t be doing everything she’s doing.
She’s a rookie. She shouldn’t be The best player on the team,
that’s. That’s not normal,
but nowadays it kind of is.
The end of the day is Chicago needs to help her out.
They need more guards ASAP.
