Reflections on a Weekend: Family, Food, and Faith

Hi, guys.
Dinner was delicious. I got all the dishes clean,
put away for her,
and she’s in there doing what she needs to do for the week,
and I’m out here by her pool with my dog.
We had a blessed day there.
And I went on our little ice cream date.
Then we came back and he made that cake,
and we all took a walk over to the park,
and bear practices baseball.
He’s one good player. He’s.
He’s getting better. This year’s his year to shine.
He shine last year, but this year is it.
And then we came back and, um,
I started making the dinner.
Had the beans going.
I made Spanish rice and the tortillas and cut everything up,
and it was delicious. So, yeah,
if there’s something that y’all want me to try to cook
or cook next Sunday, let me know.
Had a good weekend with my sister.
She brought me that shirt that I had on today from Louisiana.
And she brought me this little cross.
And this is me. I.
I carry cross on me. See how pretty?
It’s a cross. And then it has Mother Mary.
And let me turn it around,
all right? It has.
The other side of it is Mother Mary,
and then it has the cross. And
what I like, that is what I like.
Anything to do with god, cause god saved me not once,
but twice. I wear my chain,
my bracelet, And you know,
I even got a ring made two years ago on.
And I wear on my finger. And I had them make it
and they put a cross on it, so. Yep,
she knew what I like.
It’s not that hot out tonight, guys.
It’s, um,
it’s nice. And the pool,
the kids say the pool was perfect,
but you know me, I think it was cold.
Soon as we walked back, we were beat,
we were hot, we were tired.
Everybody got their swimsuits on,
and we enjoyed the pool for about a good 35,
45 minutes. And yeah,
kids are in there sleeping bears watching TV,
and Cindy and Chris are doing what they got to do.
Well, I hope you guys had a great weekend.
I hope you had fun with families, friends.
If you had to work, I hope you didn’t work too hard.
But you know, y’all don’t be a workaholic,
believe me. Take time off to go have fun.
Go somewhere, little road trip, anywhere.
Go sit at the park, do anything.
Just don’t work too hard. And remember,
you are beautiful and you are so handsome.
And only positive vibes, that’s all we need.
Cause you know, you never know what someone’s going through.
Someone can get on this app and act like they’re as happy as can be,
but deep down, you don’t know what’s going on.
So remember that. Be kind to people.
Well, I’m gonna let you go.
I gotta go charge my phone now.
So y’all have a blessed night tonight.
And I’m gonna send you that big old hug,
cause it’s nice to get a hug.
I’m not there in person to give you a hug,
but I’m sending one from Texas to give you a hug.
Talk to you later, guys.
