Navigating Agency Relationships: The Importance of Communication and Long-Term Commitment

let’s talk about my agency application
so over the past month
I’ve been doing a lot of interviews and every once in a while
someone with an agency will sneak through my application process
I’m really
really happy to talk you through perspective and understanding industry
what’s really important to me is
and as I say in my interviews
if you’re represented is to always give an opportunity to your current agent
to work through any issues that you’re having
it was reverse
one of my actors was speaking to other agents without talking to me first
that would really affect my business
really tough when you work incredibly hard earning commission only
you’re not guaranteed an income
you rely on long term relationships in order for your business to succeed
it’s all about long term relationships
if you’re coming from an agency
I highly highly recommend that you speak to your current agent first
happy to have confidential conversations to help you navigate those issues
the end of the day you want to be able to work with someone long term
and be comfortable with this person long term
that’s really really important
and if you can’t see yourself working with someone long term
you need to have those conversations
and give them the opportunity
to work through those issues before you start speaking to other agents
