I’m meteorologist lazy Swan. So right now we’re under that ridge of high pressure. There’ll be some severe weather today across the Midwest, across the northern Plains. But do you see that storm? That big trough off the Pacific Northwest coast? That is our next rainmaker. It’s gonna bring in Canadian air. It’s about 2,000 miles away. It moves in Thursday night. Now, around Thursday, we’ll start to become more unstable. A few isolated storms Thursday night as that cold front arrives. Rain chances go up to 60%. Still a 40% chance Friday. And then off and on, storm chances into your weekend, into Labor Day and into the start of next week. We need this rain desperately across Oklahoma. The drought is awful. The best chance of rain for Oklahoma City still looks to be right as the front pushes in. May have some wind and hail. We’ll watch for the timing of this. This will still change them. That brings us to your first game day forecast. OU taking on temple down in Norman. Temperatures will be in the 70s by the end of the game. They have some storms around off and on. And then on Saturday, OSU taking on South Dakota State up at Boone Pickens Stadium. It’ll be a little hotter. Right now looks mostly Dry, and for the Labor Day weekend, just some scattered storms at times. the Newsline app will alert you if rain develops in your area. Does not look like a washout.
