Unlocking Bedtime Bliss for Dogs in The Sims 4: A Step-by-Step Guide

Dogs can’t sleep on beds in the Sims 4, unlike the previous games. So let’s make it so they can. First draw a basement under the area you want your bed to go. Grab a double bed. That ones work better than others. I’m using this one from seasons and raising it up in that basement and overlapping that left wall. Do it on the right if you want your dog to sleep on the right side. To fix the lighting. Whatever lighting is in the upstairs room, you need in the bottom room. And you wanna raise it up so they both overlap each other. Raise it 30 times if you have the short wall height, 40 for medium and 50 for the tallest wall height. Draw a 1 by 2 room on the side you’re having your dog sleep and raise the platform twice and then remove the walls. I’m using the perfectly painted platform trim because it’s smaller so you can’t see it in the bed. Grab the exact same bed and we’re gonna overlap the other one using free placement. Grab the large doggy bed and size it down as small as it can go. And we’re gonna place this on that platform. You might need to raise it cause it does fall through the floor sometimes. Making sure it’s around the pillow area because we’re gonna add stairs for your dog to be able to get up here. And it needs to be far enough. Back or it won’t let your dog sleep on here. And now just test everything to make sure it works.
