Beauty Review: New Makeup Monday – Peter Thomas Roth, YSL, Typology, Tower 28!

Back with another new makeup Monday! These aren’t necessarily new launches, but they are new products to me, so let’s try them out! First, I have on the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Detox Hydrogel Eye Patches. I’m obviously on an eye patch kick right now. Peter Thomas just does it right. I’ve tried out a few different ones of the Peter Thomas Roth eye patches. These ones are cucumber infused, so they’re supposed to hydrate and calm decrease any puffiness, but man do these feel good. Put them on like 10 minutes ago, so I like to kind of let them marinate and sit for like eight to 12 minutes before I go in and do the rest of my makeup, but this is my first time using these and I loved them! Next, I recently got the YSL Pure Shot, the perfect plumper cream. Seems to have a pretty thick consistency. So far this is like one of the highest rated skincare products at Macy’s and Sephora, so it’s been on my list of things to try for a while. Feeling really good on the skin, but it does have that more rich, creamy, luxurious feel to it and it like, smells incredible. It’s orange blossom. So far so good. Loving the glow and illumination that it leaves behind and feels really good on the skin. Next, I’ve been trying out the typology skin serum concealer. It does feel serum like, but man does it provide a good amount Of coverage though. If you prefer that more skincare like feel but like a lot of coverage under your eye, you will absolutely love this. I’ve really only tried it once, so I still need to do a proper wear test on it. It hasn’t creased for me yet, so I feel that that is a really good sign. It really does brighten and enhance the under eye. This is shade 2 Claire. If you are a consistency person and you like something lightweight but offers a good amount of coverage, try this out. You love it! Just picked this up and I’m so excited! It’s the Tower 28 Blur and Set Powder. Got shade pink Palisades and I was so excited to try this. Essentially translucent, but it does have a little bit of a pink undertone in hue. I feel like this is going to be the perfect setting powder for your under eye. Supposed to set and blur and already. Please look at that. Not one crease and absolutely no shine compared to this eye. Holy crap. Please look at that difference. I actually love that it has the tiniest bit of a warmer, pinkier undertone. Perfect way to set while brightening the under eye at the same time. I just totally brightened and made my eyes look more open. Just gonna go in and hit the rest of my face. That tends to get a little bit more oily, but even in these areas I feel Like, it just blurs to perfection. I knew I was going to love this, but it definitely is exceeding expectation. Comes in a few different shades, but so far, I am loving the Pink Palace shade. Dry skin, sensitive skin. Approved. Do a wear test, come back, and I’ll let you know how it lasts.
