What I thought was going to be one of the easiest parts of this project turned into not that. I’ve taken baseboards off a few times, and it’s never once been this hard. I thought I was going to break these walls in half because these boards were on here with such long nails and there were so many of them. I actually did break the wall in a few. This is so good thing we’re covering it up anyhow. Here’s the dilemma, though. I got the baseboards off about half of the attic. So now I’m not sure if we should go ahead and put the drywall up on the places that we took the baseboard off, just in case there’s asbestos in these areas, because that is a big concern right now. The budget allowed us to get four sheets of drywall, so we don’t have enough to cover the entire attic. And I’m not sure if we should take the baseboards off the entire room and then kind of let that out in the open without being able to cover it up right away, depending on when we have the budget for it. So let me know if you guys think I should go ahead and remove the baseboard and then cover it with drywall right away, or if I should remove the baseboard in the entire room and only cover what we can cover for now. Tomorrow, we will be cutting up some of the baseboard. Up in the attic. Because that last club was me being stuck in the bathroom. It’s too big for me to even get it out of there. I also want to add a huge thank you to you guys. Everybody’s being so sweet, leaving me some nice messages and great advice for me to follow. And as you know, the budget for this series is only what I’m making through these videos. So you watching is literally helping me be able to do this and show you guys exactly what we’re doing and do it together.
