This is how you upgrade your healing gourd in Black Myth Wukong. Step 1 to upgrade your gourd, you’ll firstly need to have access to the Shen Monkey NPC located in Marsh of White Mist in Bamboo Grove. This NPC offers a few different services and he’s literally just down the hill from the shrine and then just in a cave to the right. If it’s your first time here, you’ll have a cutscene that will introduce him anyway. Step 2 in this area, you’ll need to progress down the hill to beat the white clad noble. I’ll pin a video in the comments on how to beat him easily. Then you walk slightly further on to the cave interior shrine. Right next to the shrine are doors that lead to the black and King Boss. Is not too difficult, but again, I’ll drop a link in the comments on the fastest way to beat him. And finally, step 3 now that the boss is defeated, you can finally get yourself the Awaken Worm wine. Upgrade your healing gourd. It’s located in the very left of this boss room if you were coming through the door. Once over here, smash the black pot and this will give you the upgrade. Now you can just use your Essence Trail talisman to pop back to the last shrine visited, travel back to the Shen Monkey and upgrade your god.
