Installing an ESS Supercharger: A Transformation from Naturally Aspirated to Boosted Power

Boys, look at that. The ESS is on the car. Let’s go! Well, boys, today is the day. As you guys can see, we got the car in the garage with the hood open, and, well, we’re gonna be installing my ESS supercharger, let this thing cool down a little bit. But this is the last time that we’re gonna see this car naturally aspirated. Next time we see it, there’s gonna be an ESS right here. I’m really excited. I guess I’ll just update you guys how it’s going along. I’m not gonna make it too boring, so I’ll kind of just cut all the boring stuff out and just kind of show you the cool stuff. All right, got the front bumper off. You can see it right there. Belly pan and the millions of bolts there. Um, now, I guess start taking off the intake, I guess the throttle body, little stuff like this. And I guess we’ll see where we go from here. Now I just gotta sit here and let all my coolant drain out. All right, some time has gone by. It may not look like a lot, but new thermostat installed, new lines, new lines here. And now I’m installing a supercharger bracket, which goes on top of the alternator right here. Boys, look at that. The ESS is on the car. Let’s go! But, yeah, the rest of the stuff I got to do tonight is pretty much all the piping, like, For the intake, the block, obviously the blower, and then, you know, the intercooler. So, yeah, I’m not gonna make this like a 30 part video. I guess I’ll just update you guys once everything is installed and on the car and ready to ride.
