Unexpected Benefits: Long-Lasting Hairstyles with Heatless Curls

So last week, I tried to do heatless curls on my hair, and it didn’t really work, so I ended up touching it up with a curling iron to make it look better the next day. Um, but I’ve still been doing the heatless curls overnight, uh, to help kind of, like, maintain it. It hasn’t been working better than it does on my natural hair, which I knew it would. Anyway, an unexpected benefit is that I feel like my hair is lasting a lot longer than normal. Normally, I wash my hair every, like, four to five days. A week would be, like, tops. It’s been nine days. It’s been 9 days, and my hair does not look or feel greasy. What is going on? I think it’s because when it’s in the heatless curl thing, it’s separated in the back. So maybe that because it’s not clumping up in the back, maybe that helps it last longer. Like, I’m gonna wash my hair tonight, but I don’t feel like I actually need to. I feel like I can still go a couple more days, which is crazy. Has anyone else experienced that? Like, your hair washes lasting much longer when you do this kind of, like, heatless curl thing? I’m stunned. 9 days. I don’t wanna see how long I can actually go, cause this is wild.
