Analyzing the Latest Rainbow Six Siege Patch Notes: R4C Nerf, Claymore Buff, and Prox Alarm Update

The R4C got nerfed, claymores got buffed, and Prox alarms got nerfed. Let’s talk about the new patch notes that just came out today. So today the test servers went live, meaning you can play the new season on PC. Only on the test servers. But when I looked at the patch notes, there’s three things that they did not talk about. Firstly, the R4C. They have lowered the magazine size to 25 instead of 30 bolts in each mag. Now that means instead of having 181 bolts, you have 151 bolts. They basically said they did this so that way it would stop people from pre firing so much with her. They’re basically just trying to nerf me, bro. That. That is. What is this? So what they did with claymores was they basically made it to where it will instantly blow up if you walk through it. So you can’t fake out the claymores. You can’t do any of that. But this is the good part. I. I haven’t tested it out yet. I’m gonna go test it out. But that means that when you set up the claymores, you can set them up to where it’s just one wire showing and they will still instantly go off and kill the person so that they can’t bait it out. Cause if you don’t know, you can like or stash to certain claymores. You can kind of like fake out claim wars. Now you can’t now with Prox alarms. Basically what they did was they made it so that way it doesn’t tell you if somebody, like, walks through it with the new recruit. What people are able to do is it would place a Prox alarm somewhere and the C4 below it, and then it would give them a notification. Once somebody hopped into the Prox alarm and they can blow up the C4, it took that feature away, but it is what it is. I do understand that. I do it from a competitive standpoint. I do get that. But, like, that was the only thing the recruit had going for him. Bro. But I do get it. I do get it. This one reasonable Claymore. W change, R4 C L change. Bro, there was no need for this change.
