Exploring Skopos’ Superiority in Rainbow Six Siege: A Tactical Guide for Countering Jackal and Damos

Skopos might actually be the best Roma in Rainbow Six Siege history, especially because of how big of a counter she is to Jacqueline Damos. If Jacqueline starts to track skopos, it is the active bot that he pings. The inactive bot does not get any ping on it, so he only gets one ping at a time. But if skopos then switches which one is active and which one is inactive, the one that is now inactive is still getting pinged, whereas the active one no longer gets pinged. This is a huge counter to Jackal, because although he may end up finding your inactive bot because he’s tracked that one, in the end he doesn’t have explosives other than Claymore, so he can’t destroy it without the help of his team. You are also guaranteed to get away with your life still intact because you can just switch to a safe position. But you can also use it to bait a jackal. So if jackal starts to track you, you can run towards your inactive but hide somewhere, then switch. And when Jackal then goes to swing your inactive bot, you can then swing him with your active one because he won’t actually know where you are. The same interaction happens with Damos. Whatever bot Damos gets the track on is the one that remains even if it becomes inactive.
