a TikTok that lives in your head rent free that you really didn’t expect to I’ll go first so like months ago I’m scrolling around and I see this TikTok that uh you know it hit me a little bit in the feels uh and I liked it and I commented that’s pretty sad I scrolled on thinking I’m gonna see you know sick animals and grieving people you gotta pace yourself on this app it can be like an emotional tsunami you know so I didn’t think it would it would sit with me like it has and here we are months later the creator was someone who does auctions estate auctions um in the video was a a bathroom a bathtub specifically but then also outside of the bathtub stacked with photographs old pictures photo albums things like that uh and the comment was nobody wants your old pictures the sad reality is when you’re not here anymore nobody wants your pictures why am I still thinking about that you know and as youngest of five and a non digital age you know there’s like four pictures of me so I took a digital age my kids my oldest kid is 21 now and when I tell you they have a picture of every day of their life for at least the first 10 years and each picture there’s probably 12 different versions or different angles of I have multi terror hard drive external hard drives that are just filled with pictures just filled with pictures uh now on the other hand I think my mom just passed earlier this year and she had a photo album that I saw a few times when I was visiting her um that I love that I always look through I in fact I wish I had some of those pictures I’m guessing one of my siblings has them um but I would love to have some of those pictures but now when I’m gone with my kids want those pictures cause they don’t know those people I don’t know I don’t know but it’s months later and I’m still thinking about it which one lives in your head rent free and what are you doing with your pictures
