Reflections on Horror Movies, Faith, and Family: A Personal Journey

Oh, my weapon of choice in a horror movie would have to be a gun. I do believe in spirits. I haven’t had any of my own spiritual interactions, thank god, because I don’t know how I would handle that. I don’t want that experience. I think the horror villain that’s misunderstood is Jason because he doesn’t talk and you never know why he is killing. He never says a word. A movie that I can quote word for word is the bodyguard. Of course it’s Whitney Houston. My favourite song to sing in church was yes, Jesus loves me. My number one skincare tip is to always moisturize. Who would I cast to play me in a movie about my life? There’s a few people that come to mind, but off the top of the dome, Halle Bailey. The number one rule in my household is to keep everything clean. I need everything to be in order. My biggest pet peeve with guests is mess, hence the number one rule. My favourite childhood TV show would have to be Moesha, because that’s where I spent most of my time is on set. I didn’t have a lot of time to watch TV. Best mother character in the film. A lot of great mothers in films, but I would have to give this one to Forest Gump’s mom. Life is a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.
