Drumming Diversity: A Celebration of Guest Drummers and Musical Collaboration

You are, obviously, due to your very busy schedule, and it was something we knew when this started that you would leave to do other things, and we were very happy that that was the case. And then our. Out of necessity, we started a guest drummer program. We’ve had over 200 drummers still in. Incredible. That’s incredible. And I have such an appreciation for what a different drummer, uh, brings to a band. Uh, do you hear about, uh, that out in the world? Oh, all the time. I mean, it’s like, I think the drummer world appreciates it so much, and it’s, you know, it’s true. How does it show appreciation? Well, the first thing is they’re like. They either go like, hey, I want to play on the show. Yeah, uh, ha. Uh. But other than that, they’ll go like, hey, it was really fun. That was really good. But, uh. But it is great. You know, like the. The other thing is, like, I love playing the drums. That’s, like, always been a part of my life. But I love it. I love that for, like, this amount of time, I’ve gotten to do this job, and I just love drumming. And there were times where we wouldn’t do a bit, like, we wouldn’t do the. The. That exchange, and I would just drum the whole show. I was like, wow, I. Today was like, a work day of. Of playing the drums. And we’ve had All kinds of guests. And, uh, you know, Bob Mold, of course, is here today. He was one of our first guests and, uh, you know, like. Like a real hero of mine and now a friend. But we’ve had all kinds of, like, singers, guitar players. We had Marnie Stern for a long time playing guitar. So it’s been really enriching and really incredible.
