Introducing Strawberry: An Inside Look at the Next OpenAI Model

We’re finally starting to get some clarity on what the next OpenAI model is gonna look like the information just reported on a new model in OpenAI called strawberry this new model that they’ve been working on for a while used to be called Q Star the big supposed breakthrough on this model is that it can reason on complex questions basically the model thinks differently than existing LLMs so there’s a whole new set of tasks that it couldn’t previously do before but now it can like completing the New York Times connection word puzzle generally I think there is a lot riding on this next OpenAI release the big question it’s gonna answer is how quickly is AI actually accelerating? For months we’ve been seeing the benchmarks of the best model flipping from Anthropic to Google to OpenAI but supposedly OpenAI is supposed to be far ahead than all of its competitors it’s been months since the sore release and I feel like it was the last OpenAI release that truly showed OpenAI’s advantage over its competitors the big question on my mind is that is this OpenAI release gonna be a game changing model like we’ve never seen before or is it just gonna be 1% better than Claude?
