This is the most beautiful Bill in the world. And no, I’m not just saying that the Mexican 50 peso Bill is quite literally the most beautiful Bill in the world. Let’s take a closer look at it. So, on the front of the Bill, you have the famous emblem of the eagle eating the serpent. And if you look very carefully in the back, you can see the city of Tenochitlan. There is a 50 watermark at the very top. And if you zoom in very carefully, you can see that there is actually a very intricate pattern that goes through the entire Bill. And then there’s another watermark down there. But here is the back of the Bill. And this is what got the Bill the denomination of the prettiest Bill in the world. So what we have here is an axolotl, an animal that is native to Mexico and what is now sochimilco in Sierra de Mexico. And if you zoom in, you can see a dragonfly and corn stalks, because corn is native to Mexico. And again, that intricate design throughout the whole Bill in the back. Now, this isn’t just some random acholote. It’s an actual acholote named Gorda that currently lives in the museum of acholotes here in Mexico. And just for reference, guys, this is the new 50 peso Bill compared to the old one. And as you can tell, the new one is ever so slightly shorter than the old one. And Here is the back and fun fact, guys. The reason why Mexican bills are different sizes is so that blind people can tell the difference between denominations. Another fun fact, guys, these bills are actually pretty hard to find in the wild, and I happen to have three of them. But anyways, guys, there you have it. The prettiest Bill in the world. Let me know what you guys think.
