Uh, I did want to ask you about these rumors that are going around online that this could be AWOL’s last record. Is there any truth to these at all? There is, cause I started these rumors and, um, those are the best kind of rumors. And I wanted to go into the writing of this record and the completion of it by fantasizing about it being a final goodbye, final date, final dinner, last supper, as it were. Um, I’m kidding, of course. It gave a different kind of, uh, urgency to the songs and especially the last song on the record, which is called out of here. I don’t mean to say that it’s all set in stone, but you gotta have a final record at some point, whether, you know, for, for various reasons. So I wanted to have control of that. My cup’s pretty full, and I feel very grateful for the career that, that’s been given to me thus far. I don’t wanna push too hard or, or push too much or bum out the listener. And I’d rather go out on a high note than make a trash record, not that I think I would ever make a trash record necessarily, but, um, this one feels really strong and, and, um, you know, we’ll see.
