Transforming Sketches into Vector Graphics on Your Phone: A Step-by-Step Guide

Did you know you can turn your sketches into vector graphics with your phone? So I have my sketchbook here and I’m just gonna open up Adobe Capture, tap on the camera icon and make sure I’m in shapes mode. I’m getting this preview of what my vector graphic will look like and I can slide the scale to adjust the level of detail. That looks pretty good. So I’m capturing the image there. Now I can fine tune the graphics. So I’m going to crop it, erase these extra lines, and there’s also the option to smooth or simplify the graphic. Then I’m saving it as an SVG vector file and it’s already sync to my Adobe library. I can pull my graphic right into an Adobe Fresco or illustrator file and color in the vector artwork or use it in any design. Let me know if this was helpful and follow for more illustration tips.
