In Day 8 or Episode 8 of documenting our poultry farming journey, there is a recap of the things I did and events that happened. Stay tuned. But this time with mash. We are now on our 6th bag of feed. Next, I wash the syphon drinkers and I mixed antibiotics containing aeroflox, AC, amoxicillin and all other drop composition into water and shed it into the syphon drink. These antibiotics treat a lot of things like the respiratory tract, gastro intestinal tract, urinary tract and other infections. The reason for using these antibiotics is that the artery where we collect our blood has a history of respiratory issues. So it’s best to address it early. As of August 26, 2024, we’ve recorded two mortality and no irregular behaviour. Later in the evening, I added a bit more charcoal to the pot to maintain the temperature of the brooding out. That wraps up episode 8 of our poultry farming journey. Thanks for watching and make sure you follow me for more farming updates, more farming gists.
