Embracing Solitude: A Movie Date Adventure in Long Distance Love

My husband and I are going to be doing long distance for a little bit. He’s on tour right now and I’m taking care of all the responsibilities at home. Been a little hard for me because for the past five years we haven’t really spent any time apart. Instead of dreading it, I want it to be more positive. So come with me to take myself out on a date. Had to start off with grabbing the essentials cause today’s date is going to be a movie date. Hands down one of our favourite dates to go on because we get five dollar movie tickets with our T Mobile Magenta status. So incredibly easy to use all of our perks and this is literally our favourite way to do to the theater. The first thing I did was grab some popcorn and I ran to my seat cause I was a little late to the movie. I snuck in my favourite popcorn topping in the whole entire world because did you really go to a movie if you didn’t sneak in a snack? Say it was a little bit lonely in the movie theater because I normally have Alex next to me. Really glad that I’m embracing being alone instead of dwelling in it and being sad. I had a pretty great time. My blanket kept me really cozy and the movie was a good one too. Movie was over, I rushed home because I felt so incredibly proud. Of myself. I wanted to video call Alex, but he was so proud of me, too.
