I’ve made about four to five thousand eyes. It is a custom shape over a person’s socket, very much like a large contact to make sure that the fitting feels good. The alginate mold fills the entire cavity of the socket. Then I paint it. Eye focus on hyper realism. I’ve made a sparkly Swarovski crystal eye, a demon eye, a Terminator eye. Lots of glow in the dark eyes. People come to me for an eye for various reasons. Disease, damage from an attack, or just being born without an eye. Oh my god. After a vigorous process of losing an eye, fun novelty eyes really helps people feel whole again and gain some normalcy in their life. It’s so cool.
