Unfiltered Thoughts on Tyler Perry Movies and the Inspirational Story of the 6 888 Women’s Army Corps

You know, having an opinion about something doesn’t make you a hater. And there’s always that fine line when someone expresses their thoughts when it comes to Tyler Perry movies. I’m a fan of his and yes, I do watch all of his movies. I like some, I don’t like some. Like divorce in a black. I didn’t dislike it, I just didn’t like that it felt like acrimony. Fall from Grace and diary of a Mad Black Woman. I like to see TP do other storylines like this. Coming to limited theaters December 6th and Netflix December 20th, the 6 888 tells the true story of World War Two’s first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color, who contributed to the war in a very unique way by sorting through a three year backlog of mail that’s 17 million pieces, just to give you an idea what they were facing. That hadn’t been delivered to American soldiers. Facing racism, sexism, discrimination, and grueling work conditions, these 855 women were determined to serve their country. Now, as someone that works for the post office currently and deals with mail every day, this is very intriguing to me. So I cannot wait to see this and cannot wait to see what Tyler Perry does with it. They have released a trailer today, and it’s definitely got me even more interested because it looks like it’s gonna be really good. But check it out, let me know what you think and when the time does Get closer. I would definitely be reminding you soldiers, you must be perfect. You do not have the luxury to be good. You have the burden to be better. Look alive, ladies. I need women who’ve had to fight to survive. I am giving you my best, and you will give me yours. A lot of people do not want us to succeed. We have the most to prove. Welcome to the Women’s Army Corps.
