Things that I don’t care about as a stylist. Hey, kings, I’ve seen a lot of people do this trend where they talk about things that they just don’t care about, whether that’s screen time, whatever it is. So I thought I’d do a little fashion edition one. Let’s get into it. Number one is wearing black and blue together. That’s a big fashion. No, no. Who cares? I put together so many cool outfits. Or just seen so many people wearing cool outfits that incorporate black and blue. I think it’s a great look to wear a pair of black pants, a white T-shirt, and a cool navy jacket. Don’t let some stupid rule that someone made up hundreds of years ago deter you from wearing a cool outfit. Second is that guys can’t wear sandals or shoes with their toes out. So many people are like, oh, guys should never have their feet out, but girls can walk around wearing flip flops all day. Like, that doesn’t make sense, and that’s not fair. If you’re going to the beach, you’re going to the pool, or even if it’s just a hot summer day and you don’t want to wear a big, clunky sneaker, wear a sandal, whip out your Birkenstock or your rainbow. I promise you look fine. No.3. I don’t care about what the brand is. If an outfit is a cool outfit, it’s a cool outfit. I don’t care if it’s from Salvation Army or Nordstrom. Some people only want to shop at high end brands or they would never shop there. If an outfit looks good, it looks good regardless of the brand or the price tag. No.4 no white after Labor Day. Like who came up with that? That is so dumb. You know how many cool outfits you can do with a beautiful pair of white pants and boots? Or a nice white sweater during Christmas time? Similar to the no black and blue rule. That’s some rule that someone came up years ago and it just is irrelevant. It doesn’t matter. Wear your white. No.5 is always trying to be different and unique and avoiding trends. If there is a trend that you really like and it makes you feel confident, wear it. Who cares if someone that you see at a restaurant is wearing a similar outfit? Because it’s popular right now. If you feel confident and handsome in the outfit, that’s all that should matter.
