Movie Roundup: A Quiet Place Day One, The Fall Guy, The Watchers, Kinds of Kindness

A Quiet Place Day one stars Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn and it’s a prequel film following the early days of the invasion if you’re not a horror person I would say this is a little less scary than the first two but it was also my least favorite you can watch this today on Paramount plus I feel like everyone’s already seen the fall guy who wanted to see it but if you haven’t it’s coming to Peacock on Friday this stars Ryan Gosling as a stuntman and Emily Blunt as the director of a movie that he’s working on it’s an action comedy meets romcom the watchers is the directorial debut of Ishana Night shyamalan, M Night shyamalan’s daughter and just like some of M Night’s movies the vibe is very eerie and cool and the trailer looks really good but this film is ultimately pretty disappointing you can watch it on Max starting Friday Yorgos Lanthimos’s follow up to poor things is kinds of kindness and just like his other movies there’s a lot of dark humor and absurdity here some people will like the direction and the sort of different style of storytelling and I think a lot of other people will not but you can watch this on Friday as well on Hulu
