Transforming My Car: Adding Chrome Badges for a Stylish Upgrade

I’m honestly liking this chrome a lot better than that plain and old black. So in honor of Mustang Week, I just wanted to change out a couple things on my car to make it look a little bit better. And with the chrome lip pieces on my wheels here, and especially in the back, I thought another little hint of chrome would look really, really good against the dark color of my car. So since I do have the black 5 o badges, I thought these chrome ones would look sick, and I think I was right. So before in order to remove these, I’m gonna start by heating them up because they do have that 3M on the back. Once I heat it up, I should be able to pry these off and start testing the new badges. I did go ahead and put some tape just so I can line them up perfectly, and also so when I go ahead with the little pry piece, I don’t scratch up all the paint underneath. So yeah, just like I thought, just with some heat, this is extremely easy. Unfortunately, I lied. The badge came off, but it left every single piece of adhesive on there. Now I gotta figure out how to get this off. Now that I got all the adhesive off and clean it with alcohol, I can go ahead and apply a new badge. It should look pretty, pretty good. The new badge is on There. I’m not gonna lie. That actually looks really, really good. Now I’m gonna go and do the other side, and then we can have the finished product and then compare. I don’t know about y’all, but that looks 100 times better than the ugly black ones did. I honestly changed my car way more than I thought it would.
