Inspiring Gratitude: The Power of Supportive Friendships

Good morning. Happy Wednesday. So guys, I wish I could speak like this, but anyway, today I woke up feeling so grateful. I woke up feeling so much gratitude towards my friends if I’m making sense or I woke up feeling grateful for the friends that I have for the circle that I have. I’ll tell you why I was thinking how it’s really going to be difficult for me not to succeed based on the type of friendships that I have. Um, ha ha. Speaking of which, I will show you this message, right? So the support my friends give me, people have no idea because I’m the most famous one in my group of circle except that there’s Musha and then there’s Vusi. Um, there’s other friends that are not in the industry. The amount of support I get, not just emotional support or, or mental support or advice and stuff like that. I’m talking about financial support. I have a concert happening this Saturday at Empress Palace. It’s called Somizi Shades of pink. All of my friends, all of my friends except Noah, I’ll tell you why Noah did not all of my friends have financially supported. Okay, Vusi is performing for free Mushi is performing for free, right? Then NDO is backstage management for free. NDO has hired 10 security guards, bodyguards, um, to look after the artist from his pocket, right? Hmm, I can go on forever. Then there’s other friends like they have bought Tickets for themselves and their partners, but also they have companies they have bought tickets for their staff members. Okay. And I would go they’re like, no, I sent Leroy a message yesterday. I said to Leroy Chomi um, can I give because Leroy has done so much for me can I give 10 of your staff members tickets for free? He said we don’t operate like that. This is a business. I’m going to buy tickets for my staff members. I’m just saying this so that you understand how important such things are and you you deserve to have those people and I know for a fact that I deserve to have those people because I am those people to them. I am what they are you you get it. Now this message just came in right? It’s from one of my friends. So he’s trying to buy tickets right? So he says it’s fully booked. So I booked at 7:30 again and it still says fully booked right now. Then he says er I’ll I’ll I just want to read this for you then he says morning er I want to come support at Empress. This is one of my friends Ne Uzamu I want to come support at Empress this weekend. I said, hey friend er, please check at Computicket if the 800 rand tickets are still available and then let me know and I’ll make sure we are seated together right? Then he said, okay. I’ll do so as long as we are seated together and then I could Naganjani and then I said something very funny and stupid then he says might as well buy all 8 800 rand tickets for you my something so there’s probably about hundred and something tickets left but I don’t know in the V I P probably V I P there’s about 40 tickets left he says he wants to buy all of them and then give them away to whoever just to make sure that my concert is sold out you get my drift my drift my right okay let’s move forward from this one um, let’s move forward yesterday I’m chilling with two of my friends I don’t want to mention them because this one under pressure unnecessary we are chilling and then jokingly I say hey Sompie Kids is celebrating 1 year and I wanna do a special um for like 50% discount for for the stock saga that we launched Sompie Kids with and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah one of my friends says um how much stock do you have and I tell them and then they say I have 4,000 workers I’ve I’ve employed I’ve got 4,000 employees right and sometimes between employees and employer I’ve got 4,000 employees so how about I bow I bow how about I bow 400 rand or 500 rand vouchers per person as a Christmas gift voucher so that I give it to my Staff and then they buy at Sompy Kids do your maths. Then I said no, how about you buy for 500 rand? I will give you 1,000 rand voucher to give to your per staff. Do you understand? Because how can one person buy for so much and then I don’t also you know give and take. So he’s going to pay 500 rands per person I give them 1,000 rand worth of the friends. Then the other one um says hi, now I wanna do the same. Here’s the number speak to my marketing person tell them I’ve approved. They must just give you the number of the staff people. So he owns a funeral parlours and da da da da da da and do the same basically what they want, they want my first stock that I launched Sompie Kids with to be completely sold out. I’m flexing but I’m not flexing at the same time I’m I’m proud. I’m proud of the type of friends that I have. I’m blessed to have the type of friends that I have. They are blessed to have me. So it’s a reciprocal thing and the reason for this video I want to encourage you and wish for you to have those kind of friends no competition, no er wanting to outshine the other er because people say er you know you always get support from outside and your circle is not supporting you da da da da da da da I used to have that. I don’t have that anymore. It it goes with time and da da da and mind you, the friendship is between eight years and 25 years of friendship amongst each other outing guess because alright, so happy Wednesday Ja.
