Navigating the Ups and Downs of Going on Tour: Ticket Sales, Nerves, and Excitement

I’m going on tour. And what they don’t tell you is how freaking nerve wracking it is to deal with ticket sales, okay? Like, if it doesn’t sell, you’ll never hear from me again. If it goes well, I might add 50 new cities. We don’t know, I. I’m so nervous. I’ve never done a show. We just dropped tickets for Columbus, Dallas, Houston, and Philly. My thought process here was we could sell out four shows, hopefully, and I could quickly add a couple more, or we could do a full tour next year, in 2025. But I don’t even know if I’m relevant enough to sell out tickets to this, so I’m a little nervous. This will be good to kind of dip my toes into the live podcasting world, but I am very nervous. It’s very different, I think, than just podcasting behind a mic at home or at a studio. If you haven’t already, go get your tickets. I’m super excited to meet all of you. I’m excited to see you guys. I’m ready to do this. Barely fucking touring. Let’s go!
