Building a Custom Watch from Scratch: A Detailed Guide to Crafting Your Own Timepiece

So my next project is to build my own watch from scratch, starting with this. So everything in total cost around £130, and you could definitely do this for less. I just went for extras that I wanted to make it fully customized. The most important piece I think is the bracelet and the watch case itself. And I went with this PDF all black Rolex Style watch, although it won’t have any Rolex branding on it. And this is a 40 mil size. Leave a like on the video if you’d like me to give a more in depth guide on what you’d need. But for everything that I’ve picked up, starts with the electronic calipers, a greaser for the gasket to make sure it’s waterproof. These, which I promise you are not what you think, and a tool kit which must have everything in it. If it doesn’t, I’m going to be very upset. The process definitely has its complications, but I’m pretty sure I’ve got everything down. For example, I’ve picked up the NH34 movement, which you can see here, and I hopefully, I hope to god it fits. I’ve gone with an extremely plain dial. There’s no logo on it. It does resemble that Rolex style, but I think a lot of normal watches do. Anyway, if you’re going to start something like this, make sure to do your research and pick up the right dial size and movements for what you need.
