Styling for Work at an Art Museum: From THML Dress to Duck Umbrella – A Day in Washington DC

Get ready with me for work at an art museum in Washington DC! Gonna style this THML dress. My pajamas are from Roller Rabbit. This is actually my first time ever putting it on and I love the little net color detail. I hadn’t been sure about this band. Some new Pumas my mom sent me. These will be my fall commuter shoes, and they’re also just the perfect purple color to go with this dress. The sneakers help this outfit feel younger and more age appropriate, but they’re nice and clean enough that it still feels office appropriate to me. Gonna switch out my ratty hair tie for this hair clip that moonstein had sent me. It’s going to be 100 degrees today, so I had planned to wear something else, but just needed something machine washable. These earrings are also from moonstein. And then this necklace was a Christmas present and it was from Altar State. I need to pack tonight because I’m going to Charlotte’s for tomorrow to spend my birthday with my boyfriend. Hand jewelry is on! And now for my favorite part matching the watch color to the outfit. Don’t get to do lilac that often. I shortened the necklace because it was hitting at a weird height, but here is my Shinola work tote! The duck umbrella is from the gift shop at the National Museum of women in the Arts. And then I have all my random junk bits and do dads and So here’s my full office outfit of the day. Thank you for watching. Have a fabulous, fabulous day. Bye.
