Feast of Flavors: Exploring the U.K’s Largest Food Festival Part 2

This is everything I ate at the U. K’s largest food festival part 2. I’mma kicking things off with these loaded hash Browns from Archie’s Toasty Shop. Crispy, salty hash Browns are hit with a blanket of cheese, salsa Verde, jalapenos, and tahini. The salsa Verde added a freshness. It was tangy, it cut perfectly through the cheese, and I love that jalapeno. For this. They also did cheese and bacon loaded hash Browns, but the bacon wasn’t very crispy. But they would be the perfect cure to any hangover. Next up, it’s all gravy for their beef dip sandwich and poutine. The beef sub is slow cooked. It’s hit with mustard, caramelized onions, crispy onions with the crunch. And honestly, that beef dip is like nectar. I just wanted to take a bath in it. They use a different gravy for the poutine, which is a lot thicker. It’s super rich and just pairs perfectly with the cheese and crispy fries only jerking is a necessity at every festival. Think jerk fried chicken with jerk gravy. The batter has this amazing crunch and I just love all those herbs and spices in the gravy. I was then handed this POG Donut from Project D. It had a bowl of chicken wings, pizza filled with salted caramel and then coated with Oreo pieces. This is by far the coolest dessert I’ve ever seen, and it tasted delicious. And finally, Mexican solve for their gochujang fried chicken strips. The gochujang sauce Takes these to the next level by adding that Korean aromatic kick. If you can’t take a date, take a mate. Enjoy.
