Title: Evolving from Pop Warner QB to NFL Prep: Lessons Learned and Growth on the Field

We’re football podcast. We gotta get into a little bit of your QB. You already told everybody that you were kind of a, a Pop Warner QB, but yes, the Longest Yard Man. How much like prep in the NFL were you? Were you just out there winging it, knowing that you still had the skill set? Nah, I was scared. You take some pointers from some guys, fellas. When I was a QB, I dropped so many snaps, my coach used to go, would you get your hands in there? I was so. I didn’t get in there. I was terrified. As a center, you gotta feel the pressure. I apologize to you. Put everybody before you, Jim. Auto, everybody. I, I, I made a mistake. I did. I felt so bad. Get my hand on that cup. When I got my hands in there deep, man, I. It always worked out. Sean Salisbury was nice enough. He a a great guy. He every day would throw the ball of me, taught me how to throw it a little farther, how to be a little more confident with it. Cause when I was Pop Warner, I like it. It would be like straight T26 on, on, break on, on, set. Straight T26 on, right, ready, break. Then I’d get out there, my little baby voice, I would throw that, that quarterback thing on and I don’t do that bullshit. I did. I was bullshit when I did it. I Never. I never sounded cool. But I remember Salisbury would always yell at me, like, you gotta command that team. Get out there and be a. Be a man about this. This is so good.
