We made these two paintings at the cutest little date night. We went to Splatter Charlotte, where you can make your own masterpieces. We decided to do two different canvases because we wanted to put two different paintings in our dining room. They give you gloves and little footies to make sure you’re nice and protected. This was a shot of our very first throw. I don’t think it was very good, but we said it was and kept moving. They basically give you primary colours and it’s your job just to mix them to get the colour palette that you desire. We decided our color palette was going to be, like more earth tones because that’s the paint that we have in our house. But Calvin kept throwing red on it. I don’t know what his deal was. It looked like a murder scene. The whole experience was very customer service oriented. They ask you for music in advance that you like so that they create a playlist that you can vibe to while you’re painting. They also take all of the videos and pictures for you so that you don’t have to worry about anything except staying immersed in the experience.
