A motorist has received three penalty points and being fined 120 euro. Motorist was passing an accident in County Monaghan and there was a car overturned and they decided to take a picture of the overturned car. The Irish issued the fine and the penalty point. I guess this is one of the deterrents or one of the ways they’re trying to deter people from taking images of accidents. They do ask people not to take images and not to share them for the very obvious reasons, but some people definitely feel the need to take these images. What do you think? Do you think that’s a little heavy handed? Or do you think people should be allowed record and photograph whatever the hell they like? Or do you think taking an image of an accident is literally not okay? Now, the photo was later shared on Twitter or X, whatever you’re calling it these days. Um, so they did take it and they did publish it. Fine was 120 euros, penalty points or three. Do you think this is fair?
