Here is a fun game that you can play with your students. And it does not matter what grade you teach. If you’ve ever gotten these little erasers, a lot that come with um, the whiteboards. It’s in the shape of a doggy bone. My kids love to play doggy, doggy, where’s your bone? And this is how you play. First of all, this is an old school game. My kids sit criss cross, applesauce. They sit in a circle and we do have like. I usually pull a name from a stick and they are the dog. They sit in the middle of the circle and they have to close their eyes. And I pass out a bone to somebody and they hide it in their lap. But all the students have their hands hidden in their lap. And if you’re it, you have to try to guess who has who is hiding the bone. And of course we sing the song Doggy, Doggy, where’s your bone? Somebody took it from your home. Guess who. Alright, the friend gets to have three guesses. And if they still don’t know who it is, then that person who was hiding the bone, they get to come sit in the middle and they get to be the little puppy. Anyway, my kids love doggy, doggy, where’s your bone? They ask for it all the time.
