The Case of the Matching Lunch Box: A Mother’s Tale of Surprise and Revelation

So yesterday, my son had a meltdown as I was picking him up because I realized his lunch box was not in his book bag. And he usually puts it back in his book Bag. Mind you, he’s five, so if he doesn’t, then that’s completely fine. We go down to the cafeteria or wherever it’s at and just pick it up. Usually completely normal thing for us to do. And as we were going to grab his yesterday, I just got him a new one, and he starts freaking out. He’s like, someone else has the same lunch box as me. Someone else has the same lunch box as me. I’m like, okay, it’s not a huge deal. I know which one is yours, because I have, like, a bento box that I also got that matches it. And so I was like, no huge deal, right? then as I’m going to pick up one of the lunch boxes to see is it his, is it this other kids, I see a name tag on this lunch box that has my son’s name in it. Now I know that he is the only one with that name in his class. So I’m like, I didn’t put a tag on his lunch box. And me and his father are separated. So I was like, there’s no shot that me and his dad picked out the exact same lunch box. And sure enough, we did. I was like, there is No way. Because Dexter’s like, that one’s mine. That one’s mine. Like, this one isn’t yours. And sure enough, has his name on it and everything. Called his dad. He’s like, yeah, it’s a Sonic lunch box. And my son was right. He was freaking out on me because he was right and I was wrong. I love this Halo Glow Contour. Absolutely stunning. Gorgeous. Obsessed. 10 out of 10. I’ve been trying to lean more towards, like, less powder, except in the areas that I need, and it’s just looking so natural.
