Here are all the movies coming out in September that I’m excited to see along with my predictions for whether I think they will actually be good or not so some mixed early reactions for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice but I love the original so I’m excited my prediction is that there will be an annoying amount of fan service but that I will still find it enjoyable The Front Room is a psychological horror from A24 starring Brandy and I have very low hopes for this one but I will always watch a horror movie I love Aubrey Plaza and this looks like an above average coming of age movie I don’t think it will knock my socks off but I expect it to be charming and funny I can’t get over how we’re getting an uglies movie in 2024 but seventh grade me is thrilled I expect this to be very bad and I can’t wait I don’t know if it was seeing the trailer approximately 1,000 times that did it but I’m really looking forward to speak no evil I haven’t seen the original though and I’m betting that people who have will hate this His three daughters is a drama comedy starring Carrie Coon Natasha Lyonne and Elizabeth Olsen I haven’t even seen a trailer now that I think about it but I love this cast and I don’t see how they could let me down the horror movie where even the poster freaks me out is always a good sign Sam Claflin stars in this this does feel like the kind of movie that people will either really love or really hate I recently saw the trailer for the substance and was immediately locked in it looks insane in the best way I love psychological horror and body horror and I have also heard good things about this one so I have high hopes looks like a knockoff of a Quiet Place but I guess if I like it as much as I like A Quiet Place then it’s a win apple recently canceled their plans to give Wolfs any sort of theatrical release which does make me nervous presumably that’s after the failure of Fly Me to the moon but hopefully this is better than that one
