Title: Why Jesus is the Only Way to God: A Thoughtful Analogy and Explanation

You probably heard it asked, how can you Christians say that Jesus is the only way to god? That’s so narrow minded. All roads lead to god. Okay, let’s play this out for a moment. How would you feel if you boarded a flight with a direct service to Honolulu, Hawaii, and you’re taxing down the runway and you hear the voice of the pilot say, hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Flight 2:32 with direct service to Honolulu, Hawaii. Our flight will last around four and a half hours. By the way, I’m not going to be using any of my navigational equipment or any maps. Because folks, I believe that all roads lead to Hawaii. I’d say get me off of this plane immediately. Cause basically Hawaii is like a speck in the middle of the ocean, and I would prefer if we landed there. All roads don’t lead to Hawaii and all roads don’t lead to god. People will say, all religions teach the same thing. That’s another way of saying, I have no idea what I’m talking about. If you’ve even taken a casual look at the religions of the world, you would know they have contradictory claims. But Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. And no man comes to the father but by me. So you ask, why do I say Jesus is the only way to god? Because Jesus said he was the only way to god. Think about It only Christ died for your sin and rose again from the dead. Jesus was fully god and fully man. So with one hand, he took hold of a holy god we’ve sinned against. With the other hand, he took hold of sinful humanity, which we are a part of. And nails were driven through those hands, and he died for our sins. So we can come into this relationship with god. Who knows more about how to have a relationship with god than god? So Jesus has told us how to get there. That’s the way to go. Narrow is the way. The Bible says that leads to life, and few there are that find it. Get on that narrow road and start following Jesus Christ.
