Mastering Madden 25 Mini Games: Chase and Tackle & Trench Battle Strategies

This is part 6 of how to get gold in every mini game in Madden 25. In chase and tackle, the name speaks for itself. Chase the ball carrier and tackle him. It sounds easy, but it’s just you on defense, which means there’s zero margin for error. To have the most success on this drill, look for where the running lane opens up and Sprint there as fast as you can. I prefer to go all out with a diving tackle by pressing X on Xbox or square on PlayStation, and that’s what results in fast stops behind the line of scrimmage. Once you get the timing down, you’ll be all over the running back and getting one of the easiest gold medals out of all of these games. Now in Trench Battle, you have to fight through blockers to reach the quarterback. If you’re going for gold, then you have to pick up the multipliers that are under the feet of the blockers. I found that the easiest way to shake these blocks is by moving your right stick left or right to do rip moves and club moves. Even if your player doesn’t shed the block on his first attempt of the skill move, keep moving the right stick left and right and eventually he’ll push through. Pick up all the multipliers and sack the quarterback in time in all three rounds, and that should earn you enough points for yet another gold medal.
