This viral food critic is being slammed for criticizing the food in this US city Keith Lee is one of TikTok’s most popular food reviewers regularly posting restaurant reviews that focus on soul food and black owned businesses to 16.5 million followers but fans are now outraged after his trip to Washington DC where he disliked the city’s food so much that he decided not to post most of the reviews that he filmed Keith dropped a video this week saying that out of the 12 restaurants he visited he only posted reviews for three of them as the rest were too bad to even show he showed clips of some of the food from the places he visited but he wouldn’t reveal the names of the restaurant Keith said that one meal smelled so bad he couldn’t even bring himself to taste it for context Keith Lee’s reviews are so influential that a positive review can completely transform a restaurant a phenomenon known as the Keith Lee Effect but now after his Washington DC visit some of Keith’s fans have started to turn on him arguing that he doesn’t know enough about each city’s food delicacies to have a valid opinion however he was hit back claiming that he listened to recommendations from his followers when visiting a new city do you think he please should do more to find food that truly represents the city or has he got the right to review whatever restaurant he likes
