Craving a Tuna Melt: A Kitchen Collaboration Story

I’ve been craving a tuna melt, so I’m gonna make that for lunch while Dylan makes breakfast behind me. He’s having avocado toast and eggs, but I. I need a tuna melt today. Pop one piece of bread in the toaster. Do you feel like this is the first time ever that we’ve been cooking together in the kitchen, but making something separate, right? Hmm. I think it’s happened a couple times. Really? Breakfast stuff? Yeah, but I always want breakfast. Besides today, one can of tuna drain. This one’s by Wild Planet. Specifically says not to drain, but the one time I tried not draining it, it was watery. You put those eggs perfectly. Get some garlic, jalapeno olives chopped up. Just a few. I think I’m just gonna do two of them. Some hot and sweet jalapenos from Trader Joe’s and some marinated artichoke. I think I’m just gonna do one because this is pretty big. One. Fold that in with our tuna, spoonful of Mayo, little truffle, olive oil by Truff. Let’s get that mixed up already. Pretty salty from the olives. I’m just gonna add a little extra flaky salt, some pepper. Oopsie. Chili flakes, and a sprinkle of garlic powder. That’s so good. Our toast butter, add our tuna, go of Parmesan cheese. And usually I put this in the oven to broil just for a few minutes until the cheese melted. But I forgot to set my oven to broil, and I don’t feel Like waiting. So I’m just going to pop it back into my toaster oven. If you don’t have a toaster oven, you can use your oven. Your regular oven. Okay. Very carefully. I don’t want to spill any tuna. That is not very melted. But I am too hungry to wait any longer, so that’s fine. How’s your food? It’s good. Probably as good as that, though. That looks amazing. Thanks, baby. And as always, top with some truff hot sauce. I always use truff on tuna. This is what she looks like. Enjoy. Wanna try a bite? I’m so full, actually. Um. Um, um, um, um.
