You need to start using mobile builds in Fortnite this season. Here’s why. First off, having mobile builds on makes it so much easier to hit pre fires and shots through builds. Let me explain with this example. As you can see, I break out my opponent and I’m able to clearly see him and take a shot. But because of all the extra animations, when regular builds are broken from my opponent’s POV, using regular builds they can’t even see me before they’ve been hit. Also, in some seasons regular builds have actually given better FPS. But this season mobile builds are so much better for FPS. As you can see in this clip, my FPS is constantly over 200 and nearly peaks at 300 while using mobile builds. But in this clip where I’m fighting at the exact same location with the only difference being I’m using regular builds, my FPS doesn’t even get over 200, which is a huge difference. To turn on mobile builds, just go to your video settings and copy these settings. The most important one is that meshes are on low.
