Nissan Z Heritage Edition: A Tribute to Japanese Sports Car Icons

Japanese sports car fans rejoice because there’s a new special edition Nissan. This is the Nissan Z Heritage Edition, and it pays homage to the original Datsun 2 40Z. You get a different grill opening than you get on the standard Z, which I think looks really nice. You’ll also notice this special color, which is called New Site Orange. It pays homage to the original two 40Z. And if you’re a true Nissan nerd, you’ll probably notice that this decal says S30, the model designation of the original dots in two 40 Z. You also get these special wheels that are styled after the ones on the 2 40, as well as this cool side decal that says Z. And you’ll also notice that around the Z badges you get a special decal that says Heritage Edition here on the inside. The Heritage Edition is based on the Z Performance, so it looks pretty much the same. Inside you get these black leather and suede performance seats, some digital gauges here in front of the steering wheel, and a size touch screen with wireless Apple Carplay. And these really cool retro analog gauges that hearken back to the three 70Z. You can get the Z Heritage with an automatic, but don’t worry manual enthusiasts, you can get a six speed. And under the hood you get the same twin turbocharged V6 found in other Z models, producing a healthy 400 horsepower. And I think my favorite part about the Z is. Even though it’s only a two seater, you do get a reasonable size trunk, so you can fit a lot of bags back here. Now, if you want a Heritage Edition, you’re gonna have to pony up about 60 grand, which is about six grand more than the Z Performance.
