Adventures with Internet Auntie: Virtual Reality Indoor Skydiving in Perth

how long has it been since I’ve taken one of you guys on an adventure okay, way too long that’s all I know so while I’m sad to be leaving my nieces back home I still need someone to spoil okay, so it’s not gonna be my real niece just remember I’m your internet auntie okay, now I thought for sure I was gonna find at least one of my babes in this little fairy shop in Perth but I was wrong so I went into an arcade thought I’d find one of you there and and no one inside and it wasn’t that none of you guys were there but like literally no one was there like where are my people anyways, I actually hit the street and that is where I found my first babe but baby couldn’t make it cause baby had school and like that’s so fine okay, I found my next babe and baby girl had to work and then I found my next babes and by this time I knew I had to do something about it okay, you guys doing today you at school? Oh true what time do you guys finish? 3:30 so I’m trying to find someone to come on an adventure with me I know but it has to happen at 1:45 and I don’t want to take you guys out of school actually actually indeed and if my babes have commitments today maybe I could change the time Of mine if they’ll let me, of course. What we’re actually doing today is indoor skydiving. And I’ve actually been indoor skydiving before and also skydived properly three times. But this time we’re doing a virtual reality indoor skydiving, which basically means that you’re wearing VR goggles while you’re flying. So it should, I feel like the closest thing to the real deal or does it? Well, you’ll soon find out. And as you can see here, bridge and I are actually very, very good at indoor skydiving. Not really. This is actually Bridge’s first time trying, but she did pretty good. Guys. I know I said I’ve done this before, but that does not mean I’m good at it. This is just our test run before we put the goggles on so that we felt comfortable. Fly. Okay, don’t laugh. Don’t. I did a wee little high fly and then it was time to get the big guns out and it was, oh, perfect. Bellissimo. Fantastico. Genuinely, hand on heart, this actually felt like the real deal and it was so cool. But my favourite part about it was that I knew I was safe and I could not die. Anyways, thanks for coming with me today, Bridget. Love you girl. And thanks for having me, Perth. I’ll see you guys next year when I’m back from New Zealand.
