Drafting for Success: Building the Future of an NFL Team

There’s an old saying in the NFL. Let’s go. Yeah. If you have a need. Yep. Take two or three. Haha. Which we did. And often times, the second or third one, it turns out to be the best player. Hey, listen, it’s worked with running backs here. It’s worked with. Yeah, receivers here. Yeah. Obviously it was a position of need, but it was also a reflection on where the front office is and, like, where you think this team currently is and where the expectations are. Ah, yeah. I mean, you know, I think our starters last year were Jonathan Owens. Yep. Mr. Simone Biles. Yeah. Which, by the way, I love. She was wearing the Packers jacket she had to pull. I think she’s taking some grief from the Bears fans, but that’s obviously Darnell Savage, the high draft pick and played with us for a number of years. But I’m excited. I’ve been very impressed with Xavier. Still a young player and I think still ascending. And the three draft picks. It’s probably a little too early to really tell, but I think they can play. But who’s gonna be the best? We’ll see.
