if you’ve ever wondered what getting ready for bed is like with six dogs I’m gonna show you my husband and I have this routine down to a t but it still takes us about an hour hour and a half if you have several dogs you know they all need to go out separately so the first two go out they’re the calmest while they’re doing that I go inside and do my chores clean the dishes put all the leashes that I use throughout the day and their spots for the next day Bear and Pup can be out there by themselves and so when they’re ready they come to the door and we clean their feet with towels and wipes every night Mahi has to go out separately because all she wants to do is dig holes and antagonize everybody but half the time she doesn’t even wanna go down the stairs Lily has no interest of ever going out but while Mahi’s out I do more chores fill up their water bowls and like I said she digs holes so her feet are black every night we clean all the dog’s feet like this before they get into bed come on these wipes that we have from earth rated we went back in tried to get Lily to go outside and she’s like I’m not going out there do not make me so sometimes we just give up then I take penny out penny has to be on a leash because clearly she just goes out there and she barks and that is me chasing her and then walking up the stairs thinking wow I could be asleep by now if I didn’t have six dogs last but not least my foster arrow he loves going outside he just loves people he usually just wants to cuddle with me and play while we’re out there he is house trained already which is great I put him out there with penny because penny is the only dog that can stand him cause he’s a crazy puppy penny had no interest of going inside just laid down and went to sleep but finally I cleaned her feet off and then I cleaned Arrow’s feet I’m trying to get him used to getting his feet touched and after what is that 24 paws we’re finally done taking them out I finally get to take my shower do my skincare get ready for bed and then every night I give him these dental chews it’s like brushing their teeth and they love them it makes their breath smell nice and minty I fill up my water for the night because by this time we are parched we are tired I go set up my foster’s room he sleeps in my office by himself because he’s a puppy and he will he’ll do puppy things I turn on his night light which is just a closet close all the blinds and then I close the door and he usually falls asleep pretty quickly then I remembered oh no I still have laundry in the washing machine so I switch that over we finally get into bed usually around 10 and last night there was only three dogs in the bed instead of five
